Another week is here!

It's monday again and that means another week is here. I was home by myself guarding the house. It's a big responsibility for a dog! Anyway, while I was guarding the house I was also daydreaming about this past weekend. Let's see...

I got groomed this weekend! Mommy put this silly shirt on me.

On Sunday we went out for a drive to the park. The wind felt good against my fur!

The park was so much fun! I love the outdoors.

I got tired though so when we went back in the car, I got in my favorite spot right away!

Oh my goodness! After that we went to an ice cream store and got ice cream. I even got my own!
I am drooling now, pardon me.
Recently, my friend Thor gave me this award. Thank u Thor! I am now passing it on to these 7 lovely pups whose blogs I love!

Weekend is Here!

Hi everyone. I'd like to say thank you to my good friend Thor for my first award. This means a lot to me. It sure made my day today!

The rules of the award are:
1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.

3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.

5. Leave a message on the blogs of those you have nominated.

I am still kinda new on Dogs with Blogs, so I don't have many friends yet! :( That's ok, I know that will change soon. So right now I am working on my list of pals to pass this award on to. I will post the list on my next blog, that way I keep this wonderful award going. Thanks again Thor!

Today I went to the groomer's! I got a haircut so I feel very nice and cool. It's hot out today so it came at perfect timing. While I was getting groomed, mommy got me 2 new sweaters for when the weather starts getting cold. I will have mommy take some pictures of my new haircut soon.

I also wanted to share with you that last week I tried these for the very first time:

Oh boy! Were those like a taste of heaven or what!! I especially liked them because I was really hot that day. Mommy had taken me out for a walk and it was sunny and warm.

See? I was very hot.

Here, I am cool again! I love Frosty Paws and I love mommy!

New Toys!

Today is Saturday. I love Saturdays because that means Mommy and Gabie are home with me all day. Daddy is at work, but he will be off tomorrow. (That's why I love Sundays). Anyway, today the whole pack went to the store without me! I wondered where they went. When they came back I found out where exactly they had been!

They went to the pet store! And they got me a hula monkey...

A chew toy...i love to chew!

Another chew toy!

A rawhide bone! Those things are my favorite!

And some new treats! Yummm!

Here are all my new toys and treats together! I was so excited I had to play right away!

This is me playing with my new toy.

I love my mommy and daddy!

Playtime With Daddy

Gabie brought in a piece of rope the other day that he found outside. It soon became mine!

Today Daddy got the day off! Yay! He stayed home with me and we played with my piece of rope.

It was so much fun! Daddy has been busy fixing mommy's black car and I have been helping him too. It's hard work but someone's gotta do it!

Ooops, I'm a little dirty in this picture. But fixing a car is dirty work! Especially when it's all wet and muddy outside!

Coco Goes Canoeing

This past Sunday was my Daddy's day off. Have I ever told you about my Daddy? He is the best but he works so much that I hardly see him. So Sundays are always a special day for the family, since we all get to be together.

So this past Sunday started out like all other Sundays. Bacon, pancakes, yummyness. Mommy always gives me little bites of her breakfast. Anyway, after breakfast Mommy and Daddy were talking about going to the park and all of a sudden Daddy said, "Let's go canoeing!" That's how it all started.

We all got in the big red automobile and headed out to Kickapoo State Park. It was a fun ride, I got to look out the window the whole time. I love looking out the window. When we got there, we waited a few minutes for a bus that drove everyone 8 miles out and dropped us off with our canoes.

This is us getting ready to go in the river. (Can you see how big I've gotten?) Anyway, we were soon in the river canoeing.

Oops, that's a bad picture of me! There's my brother Gabie having fun. I saw a few dogs swimming in the water so I hopped in!

This is me swimming. The water was chilly! So, we canoed and canoed.

Then we stopped for a little break along the way.

I was getting real nice and dirty! I love getting dirty! But then it was time to get back on the canoe. And we canoed and canoed. And canoed. It was nice but then it started getting real chilly. I was shivering. And then the sun started going down. We were all asking, "Where is the end?" Daddy was getting real tired because the canoe started getting stuck along rocks(the water was very shallow too) so he had to drag it. I just had to sit there but I was starting to get worried.

Here I am on the lookout for the landing. Gabie started falling asleep and Mommy had to keep him awake. He's still little so he needs a lot of nappies. Finally, six hours later, we found our landing!!! Yippee! I ran to our car and curled up for a nap of my own! Mommy put a little blanket on me and Gabie and we slept the entire way home.

What I did this summer...

The weekend is here and I'm ready to have me some fun with my mini human Gabie! Gabie went off to "kindergarten" this week and I have missed my little brother. I have been thinking about all the fun we had this past summer.

One of my favorite memories is when we all went camping this summer at Illinois Beach State Park.

This is us here. Me n the mini human. That weekend, it rained on us while we were camping. But that didn't stop us from having fun! In fact, I love the rain. I like splashing about and running around.

This is my favorite spot to sit in our automobile. I get a good view from up there. By the way, this picture was taken on the 4th of July. I was very furry.

That changed tho. Mommy took me to the groomer's for the first time in August. Oh boy, I did not like that place. So the groomer just gave me a little trim and told mommy to bring me back in 3 weeks to get a real schnauzer cut. When I went back, I was a little more comfortable and I came out feeling very naked! Here's a pic of me after my visit to the groomer. Don't I look all grown up?

Flashback to July 4th:

On the 4th of July I had an awesome time! My family and I went to Chicago to celebrate with my grandma and grandpa and aunt and uncle. They had a little cookout, yum! I will never forget that day! That was the day I got to try a lot of human food...cheeseburgers, bbq ribs, pasta salad, and more. Oh boy! I also saw a lot of shooting lights in the sky. Apparently those are called "illegal fireworks". Well, I sure love those!

This summer I also learned how to drive! Daddy taught me! That wheel was a little on the heavy side for me tho.

So here we are now in September. Summer is fading away but I'll never forget my first summer with my crazy bunch!

Thank You Everyone!

Thank you everyone for all the warm welcomes! I have been so busy being a puppy I haven't updated my blog in a while...my life has been sweet!
We just moved into a new apartment not too long ago. It's nice around here, all the neighbors have kids and I just love kids! They're the greatest. They just love to run around all day around here. And since I have a human brother who is five, I see A LOT of them!
Here is a picture that was taken this summer. I went camping with my family at Illinois Beach State Park. Fall is right around the corner, but I sure had a lot of fun this summer.
I am still new to DWB and I have yet to learn all the cool things I can do on my blog!
